Teaching Methodology:
Servite has been offering education based on the Montessori Method to the pre primary children. The aim is to maximize a child’s independent learning and exploration.
Facilities:
All the pre-primary classrooms are equipped with Montessori materials. While some of the material equips the children for their day to day activities, the use of others enables the children to use their senses for their development. Arithmetic and language learning becomes easy and permanent through the specially designed materials with which children work every day.
There are two teachers available throughout the day in the classroom to facilitate learning. Class library with picture books have been set up in each classroom for enhancing the thinking skill and imaginative power of the children.
Co Curricular Activities:
Pre Primary children are given the opportunity to hone their skill in various fields such Art and Craft, Music, Dance and Games. Educational trips and picnics also form the part of the curriculum. In the Kids' Room at Servite , the children engage themselves in fun filled activities. In the Adventure Zone they engage in endurance and stamina building skills. Various competitions like English and Hindi poem recitation, Hand writing, Coloring and Fancy Dress are organized in the school to develop their innate potential.
Assessment:
No formal test is conducted for the Pre Primary students. The performance of the child in all spheres is monitored regularly which forms the basis of their promotion to the next class.
Teaching Methodology:
Experiential learning forms the backbone of the teaching-learning process in classes I to V. It uses an interesting mix of diagrams, graphical representations, charts and models, produced by both teachers and students, to create an engaging atmosphere. This hands-on methodology is supplemented by visits to Language, Math and Junior Science laboratories, and supported by traditional classroom transaction to offer a variety of learning opportunities to the students.
Education is also imparted through visits to museums and engineering and technological institutes and industries, where students get first-hand knowledge of how to implement scientific concepts.
In keeping with the latest developments in the field of education, teaching and learning also take place through interactive smartboards that stimulate the students through a host of concept-based visuals, activities and media.
Facilities:
Apart from the Language, Math and Junior Science laboratories, the primary section also boasts of a fully equipped computer laboratory. The well-furnished and rich Library, the Yoga Room, Dance Room, Instrumental and Vocal Music Rooms, Sports and Judo Coaching Room, Art and Craft Studio further serve to provide an all-round exposure to the students. Students have the opportunity to strengthen their interest in any field of their choice.
Extra Curricular Activities:
Literary, cultural and sports competitions are organized for the students of the primary section, through which they can prove their mettle. Quizzes based on computers, science and math are organized to enrich their knowledge and hone their quizzing skills. Through SPECTRUM, the Annual Exhibition, the students get the chance to display their aesthetic and scientific temperament. Through the Annual Function, they get the chance to showcase their cultural and performing arts abilities.
Assessment/ Results:
In accordance with the CBSE guidelines, annual assessment of the students is based on six Formative Assessments. The activity-based Formatives include Speaking Skills, Quiz, Grid and Puzzles, Crossword, Rapid-fire questions, Map Skills, Recitation and Identify/Rectify errors, and are content-based.
Teaching Methodology:
Experiential learning, first introduced in the primary section, continues to flourish in the middle section. As it emphasizes ‘learning by doing’ and discourages rote learning, it reduces stress, and motivates the students to become self-learners. To further boost their independence, students are introduced to co-operative learning where they are put into groups according to their strengths, interests and needs. Group members profit from each others’ strengths and work together to enhance the learning experience.
Facilities:
Teaching is facilitated by Interactive Tools of Tata Class Edge for reinforcement of concepts. All other facilities, beginning with the various laboratories and including the library and the activity rooms are shared by the students of the primary and the middle sections.
Extra Curricular Activities:
Co-scholastic or extra-curricular activities are conducted throughout the year. There is something for every student, with every bent of mind, to try his or her hand at, beginning with Handwriting (both Hindi and English) and including Sloka-reciting (Sanskrit), Cyber quiz, Debate, Dance, Best-out-of-Waste, and so on. Names and dates of competitions are highlighted in the school calendar so that the students get ample time to prepare themselves. Teachers, too, are always at hand to assist with their expertise.
Assessment/ Results:
In accordance with the CBSE guidelines, the Annual Assessment of students is based on two Unit Tests and two Term Examination. The Formatives are based on the activities including Speaking Skills, Quiz, Grid and Puzzles, Crossword, Rapid-fire questions, Map Skills, Recitation and Identify/Rectify errors. The Summative Assessments are scholastic-based.
Results are prepared keeping in mind the format suggested by CBSE. Descriptive Indicators on Self Assessment, Work Education, Performing Arts, School Environment/values, Yoga and Sports are also an integral part of the Report Card. In accordance with the CBSE guidelines, all students till Class VIII are entitled to General Promotion to the next class.

The Senior Secondary School Programme at SERVITE prepares students for examinations in the fields of Science and Commerce as per CBSE curriculum. Students of the senior secondary school are also prepared to appear in the various competitive examinations through class room coaching system specially designed by the expert faculty of SERVITE. The programme provides a tremendous advantage to students in terms of content for higher education, Common Entrance Tests and college placement tests.
Stay back classes post regular school hours are also a unique feature which strengthens and reinforces learning and its application through one-to-one interaction with senior faculty.
